FOR THE BOOTED 'N' SUITED.
"A YOUTH SUBCULTURE AS SHARP AS A KNIFE."

Well I myself love reggAE (where the fuck does reggAY come from anyway) and ska, I don’t care much for soul and I know plenty or REAL skinheads that just don’t like any of that. So sick of holier than thou shit like this in the scene.

A great comment there about the music side of things.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that you can only be a skinhead if you listen to reggae and soul. The reality is, practically no one would give a shit about the skinhead cult if it wasn’t for punk. How many skins do you know that got into it from reggae/soul and not from punk? If they have, they probably got into it within the last 3 years through THIS IS ENGLAND or something.

Would anyone hold reggae so highly if it wasn’t for their attempt at cornering the market of the skinhead culture? If songs hadn’t been directed at skinheads, would you still have checked it out?
I don’t really give a shit about reggae. I dig the big names, I dig the Blues Busters, but I’d rather listen to Oi, punk, the rolling stones, or American soul artists.

I really don’t understand how someone couldn’t like soul music. That’s just crazy to me.

Look smart, dress smart, play your part, and don’t listen to fucking techno.

Feel Like A Man (Negative FX) - 86 Mentality

Listen/purchase: No Time by No Time

A new band out of Pittsburgh, for fans of poppier street punk stuff; think Damian from FUCKED UP singing for EASTERN YOUTH or something. It’s good. 8/10 (that’s really good)

Take a break from “Fail” compilations, stupid celebrity gossip, & inane rants by privileged idiots, and watch something worthwhile - 60 minutes of STAX/VOLT in ‘67.

OTIS REDDING, REST IN PEACE.

Skin lads looking smart back in the day.

This is a modern picture, not from “back in the day”. Look at the height of those boots, the wash of those jeans, the rise on the jeans on the guy in the back, and the size of that MA-1 jacket. Also, I’ve been informed that that is a modern Brutus shirt.
Even the way the photo has been edited is blatantly modern. Come on people, use your brains.

They do look sharp though. Doin’ it right.

this band rules, check them out if you dig the sound of French Oi! & Street Punk.

I’m back under a new name. SKINHEADS RULE OK?

It’s all been seen before. I’m just going through my youtube favourites.

You’ve probably all seen this before. If you haven’t, though, here you go. 90% of skinhead videos on youtube use clips from this.

This are all reposts, I’m sure. I don’t fucking care.
